Modular Buildings
We're not in kansas anymore!
In the early days of prefab buildings, the goal was to make them as cheap as possible. Nowadays, the goal is to make them as good or better than site built construction. Economies of factory production are still there, but utilizing the cheapest grade materials is a thing of the past.
At the Alan Buildings factory, we save our customers money by using factory production techniques, labor-saving standardized methods of construction, bulk material purchasing, and pre-engineered structural design packages. Instead of making 50+ trips to the job site, we deliver a fully assembled building in a single trip, saving time and reducing disruptions. Utility connections are completed on-site, just as with traditional construction.
Modular buildings offer key advantages over site-built structures by reducing noise, dust, clutter and safety hazards at the job site while improving efficiency and flexibility. Because site preparation and building construction occur simultaneously, projects are completed faster. If your plant layout changes, the building can be easily relocated or taken to a completely new site. These buildings are made to be moved.
After 5,000 plus modular building projects since 1971, we've figured out a few things about prefab buildings.
